About ADCA SYSTEM 2

Introduction

ADCA has independently developed an integrated irrigation management system called ADCA SYSTEM 2, which is now being implemented and operated in four countries worldwide. The development process was driven by the difficulty of integrating data from multiple telemetry equipment developers' applications and general-purpose software, the need for the ability to freely change server locations to comply with each country's data policies, and the requirement for a system that allows the customization of data display methods and functions according to specific needs. Additionally, the goal was to achieve the lowest possible annual operating costs, which led to the development of this system.

To achieve these goals, ADCA has made the web application available in a cloud environment, allowing data to be accessed from PCs, smartphones, and tablets. ADCA SYSTEM2 TM (Figure 1) and the optional asset management system ADCA SYSTEM2 AM (Figure 2) are provided to support these functionalities.

ADCA SYSTEM2 TM

ADCA SYSTEM2 TM is designed to capture data from any telemetry equipment. As a cloud-based web application, it requires minimal maintenance, and its lightweight nature allows it to be implemented and operated on a single low-spec virtual machine.

The interface features responsive web design, supporting a variety of devices.

Data from telemetry equipment is not only stored in the database but can also be processed into CSV files. This allows users to download data organized by year from installation to the present, and for telemetry equipment equipped with cameras, camera data can also be displayed.

The methods for receiving and synchronizing data with the server can be adjusted according to the environment. This includes API integration, sftp, rsync, socket communication, scraping, and other methods.

ADCA SYSTEM2 AM

The optional feature ADCA SYSTEM2 AM is an asset management software that can evaluate the health of canals and dams.

The health is evaluated on a scale from S1 to S5, and can be registered by structure type, material, and importance. The registered data is displayed on a map as markers, and you can view, edit, or delete the registered data by selecting a marker or conducting a search. The registered data is copied into a new data table every year, and only the server administrator can edit or delete past data. This makes it easy to compare with past data and prevents data loss.

The search function not only allows searches based on registered data but also keyword searches, making it user-friendly. Additionally, the search results can be exported to Excel and PDF files.
